Brink Commerce API works especially well together with a front-end built upon JAMstack principles. Brink provides a REST API to support programmatic access to manage the resources and custom integrations.

Understanding the concept and structure of the API

Brink Commerce API consists of multiple endpoints to handle everything from setting up your products to creating campaigns and price rules. It also provides you with state-of-the-art payment and shipping providers to complete the sale of your products while maintaining maximum flexibility and global scope.

We have divided our API into three different areas: Management APIs, Shopper APIs and Post Purchase APIs.

This split is there to serve each client connecting to Brink Commerce API in the best way possible and ensure the data and functionality offered in each set of endpoints are tailored to specific needs.

Management APIs

Features and integration partners

Brink Commerce API allows you to activate and use various service providers and features designated for transactions and checkout process. Such providers cover three areas: Shipping, Compliance (Risk Task), and Payments.

In addition Brink Commerce API offers multiple features to enable scaleable and flexible functionality for global commerce. Features such as multi inventory functionality and state of the art discount management.

Payments integrations

Currently, Brink Commerce API holds integrations towards multiple PSPs out-of-the-box.

Shipping integrations

Brink Commerce API Merchant Portal

Brink Commerce API comes with a Merchant Portal to which you can log in.

Discount management

Any promotional price is subject to a logic applied in the checkout. All discounts are handled in the Brink Commerce API discount management, not by a servicing system (ERP). Learn more about Discount Management here.

Stock & Inventory
